Ashley Smith

Ashley is a Paralegal and Intake Coordinator who collaborates with attorneys and medical staff to determine potential medical malpractice cases.

Ashley is involved with complex cases, including birth trauma cases and wrongful death cases. She obtains medical records for review, prepares complaints and petitions, answers discovery, schedules depositions, prepares cases for trial, corresponds with clients, performs research for cases, prepares settlement documents, and negotiates liens. 

Before joining Harry S. Cohen & Associates, Ashley worked at Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, another law firm in downtown Pittsburgh. 

Ashley is a student at Community College of Allegheny County, where she will graduate with her Paralegal Associate’s Degree. In her free time, Ashley enjoys painting and hiking depending on the weather.
