Josh Licata
After being born in Pittsburgh, Josh S. Licata grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania where he attended Cathedral Prep, before attending the Pennsylvania State University. Josh graduated from Penn State in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Crime, Law and Justice, and a minor in Sociology. After college, he attended Duquesne University School of Law, being admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2014.
During Josh’s career, he has handled a wide variety of personal injury matters including medical malpractice, premises liability, car accidents, defective products, insurance bad faith, construction accidents, wrongful death and other professional negligence cases. Josh also has handled cases from the first call all the way through appealing to the Pennsylvania Superior Court. He joined Harry S. Cohen & Associates in 2025, with a goal of bringing his diverse experience to the firm’s clients.
Josh has been named by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star multiple times, an honor received by the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania under 40.
Outside of practicing law, Josh lives his wife Courtney and their 3 pups. He is a huge basketball fan, enjoys golfing and enjoys going out and having a good time in his hometown of Pittsburgh.
