Douglas Price has been obtaining substantial medical malpractice verdicts and settlements for the firm’s clients since his conversion from an insurance defense lawyer in 1999. Mr. Price graduated from The University of Pittsburgh and The West Virginia University Law School. He has either assisted or served as lead counsel in some of the firm’s most successful birth injury verdicts and settlements, particularly in West Virginia. Most recently, Mr. Price obtained one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Price is a frequent lecturer to other trial lawyers on various medical malpractice topics, particularly the use of technology in the courtroom. In addition to his admission to the Pennsylvania and West Virginia Bars, Mr. Price is also admitted in Ohio and California. Along with practicing law, Mr. Price served for four years as an Allegheny County Councilman for his district in the West Hills, where he and his wife, Beckie, reside with their three children. Mr. Price is a Lector at Saints Simon and Jude Church in Scott Township, on the board of directors of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library in Carnegie Pennsylvania and active in various civic and charitable organizations.
